Our Edible Freeze Dried Natural Alyssum Flowers make an exquisite finish when decorating a cake or culinary creation or used to garnish a cocktail. As these are natural product the colours and shapes may vary slightly from the images shown. Our Edible Freeze Dried Natural products have been dried using a chemical free process that keeps their natural charms but allows them to be kept for use for approximately 3 months. These leaves do not need to be refrigerated. They will arrive in a box made from plant materials and sealed in a recyclable grip seal bag to help you to preserve them. We source our fresh flowers and plants from a UK grower and Freeze Dry them in-house in Dorset with a process that takes many days using a chemical free way of preservation using temperature and vacuum. Pollys Petals is a SALSA accredited independent business based in Dorset and as our name suggests we specialise in all things petals, flowers and botanicals. We love the colour, the smell, the texture, and the versatility of them, but most of all we love the fact that they are friendly to the planet. There is a small chance that you might find the odd tiny little harmless bug hiding between the petals that has escaped our cleaning procedures. These infrequent harmless stowaways would be freeze dried too. PLEASE NOTE: Some flowers and plants may contain pollen so please keep this in mind if you have a severe hay fever allergy. Some edible flowers are also part of the mustard, celery, or onion family so if you or your guests are allergic to these the flowers should be avoided. We would also like to caution pregnant or breast-feeding women, small children and the elderly or vulnerable should be cautious when eating flowers for the first time.
