Product description

Used in Indian and Thai cuisine to which it imparts a sweetish tangy flavour. Dilute in warm water for a few minutes and add to your chosen dish. This souring agent is used for chutneys, dips, sweet and sour dishes.

Directions

Place tamarind block in a bowl with 125ml warm water. Mash with a fork until pulp dissolves into a thick paste. Add more water as required. Discard any remaining skin or seeds.
