Pamban's classic masala (house) chai is made the traditional way by simply brewing over a hob. Inside you will find our signature ground spices and Pamban tea blend. Works perfectly with all milk and non-dairy milk alternatives. About Chai: originating from the sub-continent, chai is a relatively undiscovered but popular product in the western world, notably through a chai latte often made out of an artificial syrup, a tea bag or concentrate. About Pamban Chai: we use our own secret recipe, that uses a blend of teas and spices sourced from Sri Lanka and India. A proper chai has less caffeine than coffee and also has numerous health and antioxidant properties due to the blend of spices and tea leaves used. Ingredients

Luxury Black Assam Tea, Cardamom, Fennel, Clove, Ginger Powder, White Pepper Seeds, Ceylon Cinnamon

Directions

In a saucepan add half a cup of water, half a cup of milk (or non-dairy milk), teaspoon of Pamban Spice Mix (included), 1 teaspoon of Pamban Tea (included) and bring to boil. Simmer for 2 minutes and strain. Add sugar to sweeten and to bring out the flavour of the spices.
