A delicious black whole-grain rice. It has a creamy flavour and turns a deep purple colour when cooked. Wonderful with seafood. These specialist rice varieties are from generations of Vercelli rice farmers in the Po Valley of Piemonte. The grain is cultivated without herbicides and stored in atmospherically controlled conditions.
