Directions

To prepare fonio, rinse 1 cup of fonio under cold water. In a saucepan, combine the rinsed fonio with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the water is absorbed and the fonio is tender. Fluff with a fork before serving.
