- WHAT IS SPIRULINA? Sustainably grown in freshwater cultivation ponds under strict purity conditions. Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) is a strain of spiral blue-green algae that contains a wide range of nutrients and flourishes in subtropical and tropical waters.
