- WHAT IS REISHI? Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is a type of fungus native to Asia, including China, Korea and Japan. Traditional Chinese medicine has used this mushroom for thousands of years due to them containing phytochemicals such as beta-glucans, plant sterols, polysaccharides and triterpenes. Reishi is one of the most versatile and best-known mushrooms. We chose an extract (10:1), so the content of one capsule corresponds to 1000 mg of dried Reishi.
- PREMIUM EXTRACT CAPSULE: Not just mushroom powder, while other suppliers only offer reishi powder capsules, our reishi extract capsules provide 100 mg of reishi extract powder (approximately 10:1) - equivalent to 1000 mg of dried reishi mushrooms. The advantage of an extract is the high amount of reishi per capsule, and the high concentration of bioactive substances - this is why we chose the fruiting body of reishi as it is the main source of these bioactive substances!
- NUTRITION: Reishi is rich in a number of valuable compounds, including vitamins, minerals but particularly polysaccharides, beta-glucans and triterpenes: bioactive substances with multiple health benefits. Since these substances are enriched in the fruiting body of Reishi, we chose an extract that is not only derived from this part of the mushroom but also standardised to at least 40% polysaccharides and 20% beta glucans.
- HIGH STRENGHT: Medicinal mushrooms like reishi are known for their high content of polysaccharides. We use reishi mushroom powder extract (Ganoderma lucidum powder extract) standardised to at least 40% polysaccharides, 20% beta-glucan & 1% triterpenes important bioactive components. Our reishi mushroom supplement is suitable for vegans. Of course, our product is also non-GMO. We chose an extract (10:1), so the content of one capsule is equivalent to 1000 mg of dry reishi.
